I bought this gun 15 years ago, and it is still my favorite BP rifle. The fit and finish was wonderful. The accuracy out of the box was excellent. Like all my rifles, I changed out the #11 nipple to a musket nipple. I find with my arthritis messing around with those #11 caps is just a bit much on those cold mornings, and the musket caps having those lips just add enough for me to grip. Also, I have found with using the musket caps you have more fire being thrown down a larger hole which for me has always been a reciepe for succes.

I’ve shot the gun about 100-150 times.But the barrel sits an tilts to the right. 50 yards you can get real close but you won’t be on paper at a 100 yards at all. It’s still fun but dam take alittle more time on the fit. Maybe I just got the back one.
