This kit wasn’t quite as easy as other traditions kits. The wood required more shaping and the metal hardware quite a bit of step sanding to get the polish you want from a musket left in the white. I also had to do machine work to the lock mechanism to get the hammer to fall onto the nipple properly. This kit is overpriced compared to other traditions kits that are almost as nice. This kit is also made in Italy for Traditions my chiappa/armisport.

Easy to purchase and this was my first build and over all went pretty easy. the kit directions need some work basically you just get pictures and a check list of the parts. No really detailed instruction but other than that had to do a little sanding and cutting and other than that it took about 5 weeks from start to finish and of course that was done in spare time so about a total of 60 hours. That could have been less but I wanted it perfect since it was a gift . I would recommend this kit for anyone and it was a fun build. think I am doing a pistol next.
