Purchased this muzzleloader with a understanding that it was a kit and would require some assembly. Cut outs in stock were very good and matched only needed to fit the stock for the trigger guard and barrel lock. Barrel required very little work for a good fit.Trigger guard thread for clamping trigger and barrel lock into stock were stripped used heli-coil to fix.All together took about 20 hrs. to complete.Shoots well and has very good balance for a 50. cal.Despite the few pitfalls, not a bad kit. Barrel set up for scope, holes are drilled and tapped with plugs and it also comes with offset hammer.

I purchased this muzzleloader kit and was very satisfied with the results. It was easy to build, all cut outs fit with minimal fitting. Barrel finished nicely. Haven’t taken it out to shoot yet. I have several traditions kits including the Frontier and Kentucky kit. All are excellent firearms and worth the money and work to build yourself.
