I’m a longbow hunter who can no longer shoot a longbow due to shoulder and neck injuries. I picked up this gun to use as my deer getter for the 2017 season. I love it. I believe its a perfect combination of old and new tech. It has a sidelock ignition along with a synthetic stock and good modern sights. The gun shoulders perfect and the sights are really good. It handles better and gets on target faster then any of my other six modern deer rifles. Simple, shoots great. I have 100 % confidence that I’m going to tag a mature buck with it this fall. When that happens I’ll go from loving it to it being my favorite deer gun ever.
