This review is for the Kimber Hunter Pro in 6.5 CM. A couple of negatives: The safety is not real positive in the middle position. The detent is not that obvious when hunting for the safe position with bolt operable. It takes a little getting used to. The chamber is tight. I have not had any problems with chambering factory ammo, but some of my handloads need a shorter overall cartridge length to chamber smoothly. I have to full length resize most of the cases during the reloading process even though initially fired from this rifle. Lots of positives. Excellent balance – feels right in the hands. The 22″ – barrel helps with the proper balance. No feeding problems in approximately 200 rounds fired during break-in and load development. The detachable magazine is well designed and helps with the proper feeding process. I like the light weight (under 6 lbs.) of the rifle and recoil is not a problem with the 6.5 CM cartridge even with the muzzle break removed. I feel this rifle is a good value – priced a lit…
