I have owned several Ruger firearms over the years, but this was my first Ruger American Rifle.
I bought the Ruger American Go Wild 22” Barrel in 450 Bushmaster for use in Ohio, hoping the straight wall cartridge would give me better consistency and accuracy vs. my old innacurate 12 GA slug gun.
The fit and finish is GOOD for the price. (Not superb, but I also don’t have to worry about taking it to the woods and actually putting it through a tough hunt.)
The Bronze cerakote is a NICE option compared to the current ”Blued” guns.
The gun handles and shoulders GREAT for a 5’10” framed adult. (Stock comb is a touch low, but ok.)
The bolt and magazines cycle without any issues.
EASY MOA Accuracy at 100 and 200 yards using a Leupold VX Freedom 450BM 3-9×40 Scope – See attached photo of decent 12 shot group @ 100yds with Hornady Black 250grain ammo.
