‘Drop in’ is a bit optimistic, be ready to do a little adjusting or to have it done by someone who knows cap-and-ball revolvers.Is a true .38LC chamber rather than a true .38 special cylinder; this is the more useful choice of the two as it does allow heeled bullets as well as hollow based bullets to be used. Once timed, functioned fine.
