Diameter of the center pin hole is smaller than original cylinder.
Pistol cylinder pin will not slide in.
Midway customer service is great, but manufacture didn’t respond to my email nor pick up my call.

Howell makes excellent conversion cylinders for a variety of black powder revolvers and my experience with them so far has been great. I saw a review below by Mike with pictures showing it will not fit his pistol and want to point out that it’s NOT suppose to fit that model. The model shown is a nickel plate brass Pietta and these conversions are designed for steel frame only! The “improper”size hole is a safety design so this will not fit the weaker frame brass Pietta models, but if you have a steel frame Pietta this works great! I load it with 85-88 grain lead round nose commercial ammo (shown below) and it is very accurate with those cartridges.
