Very nice! First bench type stock for me and does it ever make a difference over a “stock” stock! I always use a scope and didn’t realize the difference a cheek piece would make! Your square behind the scope without “crane necking” to get a view. You will instantly feel more in command of the rifle, your square behind the scope and have a square pull on the trigger, much easier to hold on target. Its just hard to describe the improvement but its a 100% improvement if your target shooting. The 5 shots groups was from 3/4 to 1 inch groups and instantly went to 1/2″ and smaller groups @ 40 yards with this stock! I went back and shot some Eley Ammo that was all over the place before and now it was grouping 1/2″ and better. It was a drop in install no bedding on my part! Probably the free floating barrel made the big difference in accuracy, Im not sure but now I have to order 1 more for my other 10 22! If your going to carry this stock as a hunter it is a little uncomfortable to carry because there is no rounde…

I purchased a Ruger 10/22T (target 22 w/ .920 blue heavy barrel) that came with a OD Hogue rubber stock. The reason I am replacing the Hogue stock is the forearm and butt stock is too narrow, meant for carrying/hunting not bench rest shooting. What I like about the Bell and Carlson stock is that the forearm is wide and the grip position allows your trigger finger to fit perfectly on the Ruger trigger. Now is why I give this stock 3 stars. The other customer stated about the company’s packaging: stock came in a plastic bag placed in a large cardboard box with instructions to bounce around during shipping. The take down screw hole was not clean. Quality control should have seen the big aluminum burr that interfered with the placement of the trigger assembly. I had to debur the hole within the stock. The stock is made for a bull barrel and is suppose to let the large O.D.(outside diameter) barrel float freely, but the sides of the forearm are touching the barrel in a couple spots ( try the paper/dolla…
