I installed this on a Mini 14 target model with the heavy barrel and harmonic dampener. My rifle is set-up for longer ranges with a bipod and Burris MSR optic. The rifle is in stainless and the black stock looks outstanding, and the whole rifle looks mean with sling and a Tapco 30rnd mag. Very politically incorrect in very good way.
The adjustability of the stock is nice, quick, and simple. The stock seems well made and it’s quality seems much higher than the price would indicate. The accessory rail is plastic but seems solid enough for a bipod or grip and the included rail cover is a nice touch. The storage compartment is also nice, but I don’t know what to put in there that wont rattle around.
The pistol grip is comfortable but very smooth, I’d like to see some texturing on later versions of this stock. The 4 included QD sling mounts are also nice, but one of mine had rust in it. It cleaned up easily but I still don’t like rust. The QD mounts have a park finish, so they’ll hold oil, but also …
