The guys at B&C stepped up with this one. Man what a stock. Wasn’t sure of the butt hook feature, but once you get this thing in your hands, WOW!!!!!!!!!!Good things are coming out of B&C these days. What a great value.My Rem 700P in .308 dropped right in w/o issue. Barrel float is just right on this heavy bbl stock. It even has provisions for a larger than factory recoil lug. Great value, great finish, and one of the best all around hunting/shooting stocks I have ever bought. I have bought about every stock out there, but this one is the ticket.

I ordered this stock for my Remington 700 SPS Tactical in .223 and I have to admit that I am very disappointed with purchasing this stock. Prior to installing this stock my groups averaged about .5 inches at 100 yards with Harris bipods and a sand bag at the rear of the stock. With the hopes of reducing my groups I decided to purchase this stock after reading all the positive reviews. Unfortunately this stock had the opposite affect for me, my .5 inch groups suddenly increased to an average of 1.5 inches with the same hand loaded ammo. I returned to the range the following weekend with the factory original stock installed and my groups returned to an average of about .5 inches. I reinstalled this Bell and Carlson stock for comparison and yet again my grouping opened to an average of 1+ inches at 100 yards. I contacted Bell and Carlson a few days ago to informed them of the extremely poor performance of this stock and they suggested that I return this to the factory for repairs or replacement which co…
