Outstanding stock for factory barreled Remington 700. One only needs to compare how a factory stock or less expensive synthetic feels in the hand to know that this thing is a MUCH higher quality. Despite the light weight the thick recoil pad soaks up a lot of the nastiness of shooting a 300 WIN Mag. Stock free floats the barrel, and the pillar bedding is rock solid. Also the black and gray spider web looks kickass on a stainless rifle (in my opinion). Good luck hunting this fall!

I bought this for my remington 700 in 300 rum. The holes for the action screws disnt line up so I had to drill them out to make it fit. The barrel does not free float with this stock. I’ve read other reviews that say it does but I cannot even slide a $1 bill through.
