I am very pleased with the fit and finish of this historic reproduction. It suits my need to a tee for reenactment purposes.

Worst packaging I have experienced. The smaller 5 pound Uberti box was thrown into a larger Midway box with 6-8 air bladders. The pistol tore through the Uberti box and was bouncing around in the larger Midway box. With that being said there are fit and finish issues with this revolver. The brass back strap has scratches as well as two other scratches found on the blue of the frame. It appears the scratches were there before the case hardening was done. When the hammer is cocked, you can see the internal parts of the frame has deep tooling marks. Since this will be a shooter, I will most likely keep it and ignite the cosmetic flaws. I was really hoping for a beautiful gun out of the box. I wanted to buy the Walker next, but I am not so sure anymore.
