The DOTS are brighter than the cheaper brands. I can see the green dots glow even the shade.

Sights are very bright, however, they do not fit very close to the top of the slide of my XD. I can easily slide a piece of paper between the sight and the slide, both the front and rear sights. The sights needed to be filed a considerable amount before they would fit into the dovetail on my XD9. One thing for sure, they will NOT be coming loose. I expected a better fit from Trijicon.
