This version of the Model 19 Carry Comp is my EDC in winter. Its an ideal weight, its .357/.38 Special, it has classic lines. I had to change out the wood grips with the rubber ones (included) because 20 + years of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo have left my hands a bit sensitive to recoil in smaller framed revolvers.
The PC features make this a great EDC. The ported barrel helps manage muzzle rise, and the Performance Center double action is smooth. I shoot just about as well with this, as I do with my larger framed .357s. But unlike larger framed .357s the Model 19 Carry Comp is a small(ish), easily concealable package, especially in colder seasons where jackets and sweatshirts are the norm. This is a reliable, concealable, accurate, and wickedly fun to shoot package.
