First off, I shoot left handed and it currently isn’t available in LH. The gun feels good, shoots well and so far is working well; that said I am a little disappointed. I’ve touted Savage for their outstanding value, but this gun when compared to my other two Savage Predators falls short. I have the Predators in 204 Ruger and 6.5 X 284, and both are a dream. The 25 bolt just isn’t quite there, and the feed isn’t very smooth. The trigger had to be adjusted which is a first for any of the 5 Savages I currently own. When I was young (many years ago) only the poor kids had Savages, now however even with the much, much more expensive guns around, the wise people look hard at Savages. Would have only given a 3 star due to the minor disappointments, however the feel and shoot ability makes up for minor set backs.
