Used this 30.06 reamer on my new short chambered Krieger Match Grade Barrel for the M1 Garand. Very easy to use, no additional tools required. Just hold the stripped bolt up against the reamer in the chamber and lightly turn the drive rod until the bolt drops into place. Now your Garand is properly chambered and headspaced. What could be easier???? Excellent quality tool steel.

I have used other reamers before without issue. Glad my first barrel I used this on was cheap. It took forever to get to the point where headspace passed. But then loaded rounds wouldn’t chamber due to excessively short throat. I am loading 168gr CC to Nosler Specs. They run in all my other rifles. No reason they shouldnt work in this rifle. Used the Hornady OAL gauge to measure what I had.. Not close to what I needed. Midway was no help. Now I need to buy a new reamer to finish the job. Waste of money. Extremely disappointed.
