The mod Holland could be considered the rarest of the Mark 12 rifle configurations. It’s rarely seen in the real world but it has a special place in history. You can thank the Mark 12 program for many of the modern rifle concepts you see today, such as LPVOs, suppressor on/off groupings, free float barrels, 2-stage triggers, OTM rounds, etc. While many of these concepts were there prior to the Mark 12 program, they were not as popular or as widely available. In the early 2000s, the Mark 12 program was taking a accurate M4/16 rifle, and hitting targets well beyond the normal effective ranges (500-600+ yards).
The mod Holland is a special version of the Mark 12 program. Popular builds include the mod 0 and 1, but the holland has a special place. It’s a 16 inch barrel (as it was in the military) and it could be used along with a nightvision optic and since it is a little shorter than the mod 0/1, you could use it for room clearing.
