I purchased this sight system for a Sig Sauer P220. The rear sight installed like a dream and appears to be fully adjustable. It does sit high though. However, the front sight is a whole other issue. I have installed numerous sights for pistols over the years and most front sights seem to need some material removed for proper fit. With this sight I took off enough material from the sights dovetail so it would start into the front sight grove about 1/4 of the way. I then used my sight installation tool which has worked flawlessly on many other front sights . While pushing the sight into place it gets bound up just before it reaches the center position and broke just before center. The left ear of the sight sheared off next to the center of the main sight line. As it is from an Italian manufacturer the only contact information for the company is in Italy. The only telephone contact is international, so I sent an email with a photo of the broken component and communicated in both English and Italian. I…
