I just received this 1911 and upon inspecting the firearm, I’ve found that the thumb safety will not engage. The thumb safety is completly stuck and will not budge therefore rendering the thumb safety useless. It is dissapointing to have this issue straight out of the box and now I have to deal with COLT’s warranty department. I believe that for the amount of money I paid for this firearm, it should perform flawlessly.
