Extractor claw on mine broke with less than 100 rounds of brass 9mm! I called Beretta, they wanted me to send the pistol to them (which would cost me $100 due to the requirements of sending a pistol). The other alternative is to wait for their national backorder on extractors (nevermind them being easy to find all over online), they will send me one, and then I get to pay a gunsmith to repair it (the pivot pin for the extractor is staked so I can’t just remove it). I asked if they would instead replace my pistol given I’ve had it for less than a month. Nope. They insist I need to send it in and they have the right to repair first. How are they going to repair the pistol when the extractors are on backorder? So much for a competition-grade gun! Beretta needs to have authorized repair facilities in more than a few places. Mailing a pistol to another state (only to never see it again for at least 4 weeks, in reality 2-3 months) is unacceptable and becoming harder and harder to do. Additionally, why …

I own many Beretta 92’s, got the 92x performance mainly for the steel lower and the next generation NP3 plating. I’m not a fan if the vertec style grip but it is tolerable.
I have two of the performance and one performance defense. I’m pleased because I know they will be around through my grandkids and beyond.
