this weapon is made in Italy by one of two good USofA western shooters. It is slightly heavier than one of USofA replica pistols. However the balance on this pistol resolves normal issues weight has on accuracy. The pistol was bulls eye on first shot fired. And pattern was 2 inch first 5 rounds. If you buy this type of .45 remember you need .45 COLT. Your 1911 ACP will not work for this pistol. I will say it here I am very impressed with Pietta post war weapon design. If your weapon has a P in model number it is Pre world war 2 model or older design. I personally like the post war upgrades which has the push release of cylinder rod versus SCREW that must be taken out to release the rod. This model sold new is generally post war design.
