The Cimarron Model 1892 rifle is manufactured on John Brownings patents of 1884, the same patents covering the earlier and larger model 1886 rifle. The 1892 was introduced by Winchester to replace the aging 1873 model in popular calibers proven in the model 1873.

just recieved carbine last week. it is very well made! fit and finish are superb! wood to metal fit is perfect, no gaps or spaces. shoots great!
