First let me say this pistol shoots great and is dead on accurate out of the box. It has a really nice feel and balance. However the moon clips are a major pain. After a real struggle I was able to get one clip loaded. Then I tried to take them out. The cutouts for the cartridges are way to tight. Even when using the provided removal tool I could not get them out when using just my fingers. I had to use two pair of pliers (one for the clip and one for the tab on the tool.)
After much cursing and a lot of effort I was able to get them out. So then I used a hand file and filed down the the tips of the half moon cutouts. It took nearly 30 minutes to rework the 3 clips. After filing they were much easier to load although I still had to use one pair of pliers on the tab of the removal tool to get them out of the clip. I had to be very careful when filing not to take too much off cause I knew the cartridge would fall out if I did. So in closing I highly recommend the pistol but hate the poor quality of these mo…
