FL45 –
First the gun is fun to shoot. But this one doesn’t. Purchased the Bulldog in 45 Long Colt. Out of 5 rounds, 1 actually fired. Tried 20+ rounds of different brands of ammo, same results 4 out of 5 failed to fire. Light primer strikes. Like playing Russian roulette with 5 rounds. Had similar results with the Pitbull in 45 acp. Sent back for repair to Charter arms, I will update the review when I get to try it again. I would wait on this one too.

I bought this pistol a little over 2 years ago and I am happy with it. The single action pull is excellent and the double acton pull is good. The Bulldog 45 colt is very accurate with full power and cowboy loads, the recoil is snappy with 255 gr full power loads. The overall fit and finish is good overall but the trigger guard had sharp edges, which Idressed down a stone. My Only complaint is the bore has chatter marks, but they don’t affect accuracy. Overall it was a very good purchase.
