The Caspian Damascus hammer, a commander-style, provides that touch of class and elegance complimentary to Caspian’s Damascus slide offerings or equally dressing up one of the finer blued or stainless 1911’s in your collection. The hammer is left solid, instead of milled in the spur to showcase the fine Damascus swirls in the steel, so keep in mind that this is NOT a low-mass hammer. Race-gun shooters would not want this little baby, however anyone short of speed competition shooters may really find this hammer quite serviceable. I currently own four of these hammers and intend on purchasing a few more to round out my Damascus-based 1911 builds and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase.
