I used this on a neo-traditional build — trying to capture the “romance” of the M16 Rifle, with modern interpretation. Think of how classic the new Camaro, Mustang Fastbacks, and Challengers are, though they share only vague shapes in relation to their original roots — but are instantly recognized for what they are and where they came from.
The twin band, bayonet lug, and standard A-Frame site when unfolded look and fit perfectly on my build, while the compact, streamlined folded position keeps the site picture clear when optics are mounted in place of the removable carry handle.
The one major downside is the price. Sights from other manufacturers with much more complex machining cost less, though do not have the same function. Perhaps if they sell more of these, the price per unit will come down? I’d also like to see more versions, so I can mount these on various barrel thicknesses, rather than strictly the .750. I also want to see more drill and pin options, as I hear they are special order …

The gunsmith I had install this had to fine tune it to fit. Not well machined.
