Vanguard sporter in .223, quickly becoming my favorite rifle. Gorgeous wood, excellent trigger, lots of quality touches like the fluted bolt body. Butter smooth bolt throw. Mounted a Trijicon Ascent 3-12 scope on it. Great combination, deadly accurate. 3 shot ragged hole groups @ 100 yards is no problem.Just a joy to shoot. 1/9 twist handles up to 69 grains well, would be pleased to see a 1/8 or 1/7 twist for heavier bullet weights if you gonna hunt Deer with it. Overall I love this rifle.
