I bought this rifle mainly for traditional 4th of July celebrations, but considering the price, I had low expectations. I’m impressed with the quality, though! No, it’s not a perfectly historical reproduction and it’s not really suitable for reenactors. For those, you need to plan to pay a lot more. This is a fully functional rifle and a lot of fun to shoot. It allows us to experience shooting as it used to be. It will be displayed on my wall next to my copy of the Declaration of Independence and it looks great.
