This easy-to-install replacement trigger is highly recommended and functions flawlessly. Once installed, the trigger breaks smoothly at 2.5# with no creep. No adjustment was necessary. If you’re replacing a Remington 700 or Model 7 trigger, this is the one to choose.

Bought this to replace a model 7 trigger and bring the pull weight down. Install is fairly straightforward though the instructions are vague (describing the process for multiple models in the same description) and some inletting was required. I heated a paperclip to melt away the synthetic stock material required to clearance the safety.
The trigger is fairly adjustable but the return spring set-up is a bit too dodgy so it is quite possible to adjust the trigger to a dangerous condition where the trigger doesn’t reset or has too little engagement. The instructions are not clear enough on avoiding either condition but you can find the info out there in the ether if you look hard enough.
