I’m not sure who designed or put this gun together for Taurus, but this little .22LR does not reflect any of my previous experiences with that particular brand. It is, quite literally, perfect. I cannot think of a single thing I would change, as all of the major (and even minor) components are excellent and well-executed. I have a collection of .22LR semis from almost every major manufacturer and this is the best of all of them – it’s not hype and marketing, it really is THAT good. The grip is perfect – not too grippy, not too slippy, ergonomically shaped for real human hands. Capacity at 16 is more than almost all other .22LR’s, and you get two mags in the box – bumper kits can take you to 21 rounds in each mag if you want. External safety is low profile and out of the way – you can use it easily if you want, or ignore it if you don’t.
