I’ve owned my SR1911 in .45acp for 6 years. It’s a beautifully manufactured firearm that shoots flawlessly and is very accurate. Last summer I replaced the rear “fixed” Novak sight with a elevation adjustable Novak sight. Allowed me to fine tune my P.O.A. for different distances. I own several 1911’s in both .45acp and 9mm from several manufacturers. It’s always a pleasure to take my Ruger SR1911 to the range. Loves my custom / tuned reload ammo but also performs very well with Winchester service grade .45acp rds. Great pistol for under the $1,000 price level.
