Barrel was perfect right out of the box. Although advertised as a 2 3/4″ chamber, the barrel I received was a 3″ model. Equipped with the standard rifle sights, this makes a shotgun into an honest 50-75 yard gun. If topped off with a scope mount from one of the various manufacturers, it could be an honest 150+ yard gun
