Used this reamer to chamber a .308 walking Varminter – reamer cut quickly, with a minimum of effort, and left a chamber with a mirror polish. Removable pilot was instrumental in maintaining chamber concentricity. Very good product – I’ll be back for more!

Reamer throat was .200 beyond S.A.M.M.I. specs. Sent back to PTG to regrind and it came back .175 too long. I am sending back to have them custom grind to my spec. PTG is a great company with good customer support. I have many of their reamers, and this was the first bad one. I don’t know if it was just this one or a bad batch. So check your 223 rem match reamer if you brought one.
