This shotgun was a gift for my 17th birthday. That was 6 years ago and I have since started shooting sporting clays in serious matches and sleet in some back yard type capacity. This shotgun has roughly 900000 shells through it varying from cheap bird shot to slugs and all in between. Also at 17 I started loading my own shells. This shotgun eats whatever you put in it and with the right choke I have gotten some impressive patterns as well. I actually had to use it as a boat paddle one cold morning when the boat motor quit. In those early years I never cleaned it at all. I did my best to break this gun and I can say that it beat me. I have still not broken it. I have started getting light primer strikes once every hundred rounds or so. My guess is the firing pin has begun to mushroom out. With 900000 rounds it’s about time for a new one. Bottom line is this gun will perform in any field or competition situation. Even as old and worn out as mine is I’d still trust it with my life. Fantastic shotgun.
