Purchased to complete an Aero Precision M5 308 build because the Aero handguards are impossible to acquire. Unfortunately this handguard is for a DPMS low profile upper and the Aero Precision M5 upper is a high profile. Otherwise it is a beautiful, high quality, German made handguard that would look great on a low profile DPMS upper. The product description should include this information to enable making the appropriate choice.

The description said dpms LR308 generation 1 standard model which I have.Everything fits snug and feels very sturdy and was on sale which is why I’m not returning it. The negatives are first shame on me for putting foreign parts on my AR, there is a height difference between upper and lower that is noticeable if your not using scope rings like mine that luckily cover the eye soar, my biggest complaint is how sharp the edges are , you can see skin from my hands where I was holding it. Over all it looks good but I should have just went with a good known name and not been so cheap.
