    This is my fourth trigger: enhanced two stage, Hiperfire Eclipse, Timney Skeletonized, and this one; and a single stage stock which will make five triggers. Very nice for the money. I’m not a verified buyer on this model, but i got the 2.5lb CMC flat trigger and thought to add a review about here because it was low on reviews. Reset is not THE shortest, but i like this trigger just fine. I would recommend. Install was super ez. Gotta use their pins and screws. For the money, 5 stars!

    I bought this to replace an old trigger assembly that had a 6 pound pull; that replaced a broken trigger. I let a friend do that for me, not knowing he would use such a heavy trigger pull. I built this AR back in 1984 using a PWA lower. To make a long story short, the CMC 2.5LB pull for AR-15/10 would not line up to install the pins. Called CMC Triggers and they told me to file off the front bottom of the assembly to allow the unit to move forward so the back pin would go in. After an hour of filling and grinding, I was able to install the assembly using my original pins and with a lot of effort. the pins provided would only go in on the front of the assembly, therefore I chose to use my original ones for both holes.
    Once installed, the trigger pull is 2.5Lbs and is very smooth. I am happy with the final results, but not with the amount of modification need to install the assembly. It is not an easy install as advertised by CMC, especially in a PWA lower receiver. So, be ware, it may not be easy in you…
