Savage 220 boyds stock are engineered to perfectly fit the gun. They are tight where they need to be tight, loose where they need to be loose for superior performance and improved accuracy you can measure. Boyds uses only top-grade hardwoods, because a hardwood stock performs! Every stock is dried to exacting specifications to ensure rigidity and stability, then sealed with chemical-resistant finishes for long-lasting durability and performance in all weather conditions. Since 1981, Boyds engineers have continued to perfect manufacturing methods so you get for more gunstock for the money.
The Boyds Featherweight Stock for the Savage 220 Slug features a 31.5″ overall length and a 1/2″ rubber recoil pad for recoil absorption and comfort. The 220 Slug Gun is chambered for a 20-gauge shotgun shell. You will need the trigger guard, floor plate/mag plate, ram rod, ram rod retainer spring, and all take down screws from the original stock. This stock is designed for the right hand bolt action only. It is your responsibility to confirm the dimensions of your firearm with the supplied dimensions of our part. All finished parts have been CNC inlet to Boyds’ House Action.

- This is for the older style floor plate that measures 5.7875″. The gun is chambered for a 20 GAUGE shotgun shell. You will need the trigger guard, floor plate/mag plate, and all take down screws from the original stock.
- Variations may exist from firearm to firearm, minor fitting may be required to get that perfect fit to your firearm. Natural cosmetic imperfections such as minor knots, burls, heartwood, mineral lines or minor cosmetic fill work are normal and are not considered defective.
