I had Zero problems and didn’t have to modify this stock at all for it to fit my Model 70 .270 Winchester, it couldn’t have been any more perfect and easy of a swap out. I was worried that I was going to have to do some sanding to get the barrel and magazine to seat but it fit like a factory stock and is very much a precision product. I’m very impressed with the quality of the stock and the quick shipping from Midway.
I will definitely purchase another B&C stock for one of my other rifles without hesitation.

Had ordered this from Midway- unfortunately they weren’t able to complete the deal and missed the target completely. Showed as in-stock, and after multiple calls and emails I finally had them cancel the order and went to Stocky’s for the very same stock. Is it a drop-in…. Yes. But in order to fit my 7×57 Featherweight correctly I had to skim-bed the recoil lug and tang areas. While not germane to the topic, Midway has slipped a few notches after this experience. I sent an email explaining the expectations (4 days of processing and not shipping, despite being told twice that it had shipped) and send the lion’s share of my business elsewhere.
