Used this stock for a custom Model 7 build that I donated as a raffle item for a memorial organization. Minimal work to get the most out of this stock. Had to hog out very little of the barrel channel in order freefloat a Shilen #3 contour barrel and bed the recoil lug and the stock work was finished. I made a medium weight rifle that turned out so well I didn’t want to let it go… So I’m building another for myself.

Good stock, but I had to mill out a slot for the safety lever to fit in. The stock was not milled for this like the other stocks I have purchased from them. If you don’t have a milling machine, you’d be hard pressed to do it with a Dremel tool. Honestly, I suspect that they forgot to make the cut on mine, as all of my other B&C stocks have the cut for the safety. B&C customer service was not a help (kind of rude to me) and insisted it would fit a standard model 7 action, with safety, which is what I have. It would not fit as delivered and they offered me no further support, so I just fixed it myself. Fits great now, no thanks to B&C. Midway was great, as always, but not involved as I intended to keep the stock. I am certain that I could have returned it if necessary, but I needed it.
