This stock set to me was worth the money. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars since I had to use a dremel tool to cut down the tang of the stock a bit. I am not complaining since AK’s are not universeal in fit and finish. I used this kit on a Chinene Norinco MAK 90 straight cut receiver and it was just a matter of sanding of a bit here and there until it fit in snugly using the dremel I already owned. The handguards went on easily with no fitting required and seem very durable. I did not use the pistol grip included, I sold it and used a Magpul AK pistol grip for the better ergonomics of them.
I have since purchased a cleaning kit, which fits nicely into the butt stock compartment. The stock also has sling mounting point for traditional AK slings. The stock is solid and does not rattle, the handguards are solid and have heatshields which seem to work since I have sent about 900 rounds downrange with this furniture without a hitch and without any real heat.

The stock and hand guard are of exceptional quality, I do not foresee any future problems with durability or function. I have three main problems with this stock, none of which would prevent me from buying the product again. The butt plate is a nasty shiny black plastic, not the end of the world but not that appealing. I have a milled CAI 39 so I expected to do a decent amount of fitting; what I did not expect was to remove 4-5″ of material and do filing to change the shape of the stock so the prongs that held it on would touch. VERY EXTENSIVE. 3rd problem is that the pistol grip it comes with is pretty low quality and doesn’t accept the bolt I had for it, I opted to stick with the factory grip. Overall it is a good buy but if you own a milled gun do not expect a drop in stock.
