Installed this slide on my Gen 3 G19. This is a stripped slide so you will need a slide parts kit to install. I bought the strike industries slide parts kit for G19 from midway also. There’s several helpful YouTube videos that will walk you through the install. It went together easy enough without any issues. Love the fit and finish. The finish is gunmetal grey so it’s not black like the standard slide but I like it. I mounted a Holson HE407CGRX2 reflex green dot to the slide. Fit perfect.
Disappointed –
In my mind if the description says “RMR cut” then its the STANDARD RMR cut. NOT with ZEV posts. I have a Holosun 509T with an RMR mount. The description for this slide says RMR cut. But in the bizarro world of red dot mounts, this means NOTHING. I should have known that there would be an issue since NONE of the pictures show the cover removed. But wait there’s more! the Swenson slide with an actual, original RMR cut has been discontinued. I love using a red dot but I am sick and tired of having to have a PhD to figure this crap out.
