Not sure what happened here but maybe Midway sent me the wrong slide but the caspian .45 firing pin does not fit in this slide. I see Caspian has firing pins for 9mm/40S&W. In any case I will be returning this slide for another and see how that works out. Overall fit and finish looks very good however so I am giving it 3 stars.
