This replacement stock is a step above the smooth plastic looking stock often seen. The bedding system and the accurate fit made the drop in stock look custom. The stock finish was textured and non-slip. I chose this stock to replace a worn wooden stock and to help with minor accuracy issues. The stock is of high quality and the bedding block indeed cured the accuracy issues caused mainly by changing humidity and worn bedding. I weighed the cost against the cost and work of rebedding and refinishing the wooden stock and felt the bedding block system and the waterproof non-slip stock upgrade was the better choice for me.

I just received my B&C Stock for my Varmint 700…and the swivel stud on the underside was off center by about a 1/4 inch..!! No way you could install a bipod and have it be level…Precision made stock, huh?? It can made to “exact” standards, but they couldn’t even install a swivel stud accurately?? Oh well… Very disappointing…I sent it back this morning….
