Despite the good luck of other reviewers, my 10/22 did not fit in this stock very well. It took significant grinding to get the receiver fully seated into the “drop-in” stock. Even after grinding, I’m still unable to get it seated well enough for the magazine to engage properly. I’ve had to take it apart enough times now that I’ve stripped one of the primary screws that keeps the receiver fully seated.
It was an interesting exercise, and I’ve learned much about the 10/22 takedown process. However, that’s not exactly what I paid for. If a stock is marketed as “drop-in” the customer should not have to spend hours with a grinder and file getting it to fit properly.
Functionally, the stock is comfortable. Forget being accurate however, as the sights are worthless — unless your shooting at a rhino at 5 yards. And there is so much movement with the different pieces of the stock that keeping a scope zeroed it a futile task.
Save your money. If it is a wall hanger you want, go buy the airsof…

This kit for my ruger 10/22 is outstanding. It looks like an H&K G36. It makes Ruger 10/22 feel like a completely differnt gun. Very nice quality polymer body. Very tight fit but no modifications or gunsmithing is required. The stock set screw plus 10 additional screws lock this into place for a good solid feel.

Overall a Great Kit and a great value. Would have given a 10/10 if the supplied magazine worked properly out of the box.
